Maybank and 1337 Ventures to Invest in Startups in Southeast Asia

The largest financial and banking firm in Malaysia is partnering up with 1337 Ventures to invest in companies that are primarily based in the financial technology ("fintech") sector. This is an enormous sector (over 20 billion and growing exponentially). We eagerly await the partnership's first investor. We'll keep you guys posted.
